Conditional access system conformance tests

A conditional access system links itself to many important sub-systems of a digital TV network, like, customer account and billing information, content protection and rights management, content encryption and decryption as well as user authentication. Therefore, a conditional access system needs to be fully functional and thoroughly tested in a reliable and secure environment.

Labwise is an authorized conformance test laboratory for the Conax conditional access system. The Conax tests are performed according to the test suites as specified by Conax.

The Labwise laboratory has an online access to the Conax CAS7 system. Therefore it is possible to perform field tests with the basic conditional access functions with the Conax cards and with the conditional access system in operational networks.
