Fully featured test laboratory with consultancy services

Local testing is essential in order to ensure interoperability with the various local flavours of the digital TV. However, it is often difficult to get access to local live TV streams, local test streams or other local network peculiarities. It is also often difficult, expensive and slow to travel with bulky and sensitive test equipment and to find a place where to set it all up. Labwise offers a solution to these problems.

Labwise provides office and laboratory space, test signals and the use of the test equipment for the device manufactures who want to perform verification tests and local field tests in the Labwise premises. Labwise is also happy to provide consultancy services from our own digital TV and test experts.

The laboratory and the test head-end are in locked rooms separate from the rest of the office space. The laboratory and the office space have cabling for the testing; standardized cables for the RF measurements and cross connected cabling to all office seats. Therefore, it is possible to connect any of the input signals and generated signals to any office seat.

The office space reserved for the device manufacturers’ engineers to use when visiting the laboratory can be separated from the laboratory, the head-end and the rest of the office. Therefore, Labwise can offer secure 24/7 office and testing environment for the visitors.

To the operators Labwise is providing consultancy services on the network side, for example by verifying the network signalling parameters against the standards and specifications and by specifying the correct signalling.
