OTA/OAD Tests
A fully functional software update chain, from the network operator's data and object carousels to the various bootloader versions of the receivers, is essential for maintaining an up-to-date broadcast TV network. Labwise offers two kinds of software update and bootload services.
Labwise performs over-the-air (OTA) system testing to ensure effortless and error free software updating procedure. Labwise's OTA testing is based on the widely used NorDig bootloader and DVB's System Software Update (DVB-SSU) specifications. Also, other transport stream (TS) based OTA systems can be tested in the laboratory.
Labwise also acts as a local partner for manufacturers by offering turnkey services for unified OTA software updates. Labwise ensures that a software update is correctly and reliably distributed to all the necessary receivers through local DVB-T and DVB-C networks.
