System test, field tests, acceptance tests and verification tests require expert knowledge and experienced personnel, expensive, complex and sensitive equipment and reliable, consistent and independent reporting structure. In many cases it is therefore beneficial to outsource these tests to an expert testing house.

  • Cable Ready verification
    Labwise is an authorized verification laboratory for the receiver acceptance procedure of the FiCom (Cable Ready and Cable Ready HD verification). The Cable Ready label on a set-top box confirms that the set-top box has passed verification tests and functions properly in the Finnish cable television networks. Additionally, the Cable Ready label signifies that the manufacturers’ new software updates can be offered  through the cable network easily, thus ensuring that all the latest features are activated in the set-top box. Cable Ready is Trade mark controlled by FiCom ry.
  • NorDig verification
    Labwise is an expert of the NorDig specification created for the Northern European digital TV broadcast markets.
  • E-Book verification
    Labwise performs verification tests to ensure device functionality according to the E-Book specified by European Information & Communications Technology Industry Association (EICTA).
  • D-Book verification
    Labwise performs verification tests to ensure device functionality according to the D-Book specified by Digital TV Group (DTG, the industry association for digital television in the UK).
